When The Stream Shows

This little forest painting sat half finished for years- this winter, the deep snow beckoned my attention- and naturally, finally, I knew how to keep going. Sort of like life.
All the pieces are patient, waiting for the right time perhaps?

Creating keeps me sane; and all of us create in some way. The child we once were of course created in many ways; and that's the part of us that needs a fertile space now; something to build, something to cook, something to form with our hands, no expectations of how it will turn out.
