Along the Western shore of Schoodic , there are hidden spots to pull over. On the curve before the one way road heads West and the two way road goes right to the parking lot at Point Point, I have parked on a rough patch barely big enough for one car- and found the beauty of this hidden cove. To the West, rocky cliffs rise, a pocket beach curves- Pond Island to the South shelters this spot from big waves. At low tide sand bars split the sea.

Late in the day, fog settling and lifting as the sun shows briefly, the tide comes in.
