Some paintings come quickly, from inspiration and a creative spark. This is one of those.
Suddenly the colors are exploding in Maine, the maples showing their reds and oranges, with rains we've needed for a year.
Now I've lit the stove in the studio, put paper towels and turpentine on the my shopping list, and reopened the door to my painting flow.
