A dear friend encouraged me to paint the summer crows in winter; I'm so glad she did.
The process of stretching canvas; and memories evoked; the impulse of today's the day; the right size, the right light, just right. Painting involves grasping moments; then the moment is merged with colored soft pigment, smeared, layered, delicately touched until it lives on, literally and figuratively, a canvas.
